COAS Students
in the Field

COAS Marine Resource Management students do research with non-governmental organizations, the fishing industry, private-sector organizations, and state and federal agencies.

Students in other disciplines at the College of Oceanic & Atmospheric Sciences work on a full range of research projects with their advisors.

Student research makes important contributions to the fields in which they work. Facilities at COAS—world-class laboratories, remote sensing, computer systems, research vessels, etc.—support this work. Students collaborate across disciplines on local, distant, and global projects.
